  The aim of this study is to determine the accuracy and reproducibility of (Left Ventricular (LV) volumes and ejection fractions (amount of blood pumped out of ventricles) and Left Atria (LA) volume measurements by the “HeartModel” automated software for real-time 3D echocardiography (3DE) against manual 2D and 3D echo datasets.

  Patients requiring a routine echocardiogram will be asked to participate. The images collected will simply be transferred to the core lab for analysis. There will be no change to the patients routine care, only new software installed in the echo machine will be used to collect data. Patients will only be consenting for there anonymised images to be sent to the core lab for analysis.Once the routine echo is complete, patients participation in the study is complete.
