Research summary
COVID-19 is a new viral infection which is pandemic in 2020. Patients with this condition are currently cared for at Cambridge University Hospitals. Some of these patients may develop blood related issues such as clots, low blood counts or bleeding issues. This study aims to describe the clinical and laboratory blood related issues within these patients at Cambridge University Hospitals. This study is an observation of the blood related (clinical and laboratory) issues in this patient group. It will also describe how these are treated.
