Research summary
The purpose of this research is to assess patient preferences for gene therapies in haemophilia A and simulate the clinical influence on these. The research will utilise online discrete choice experiment (DCE) methodology with clinician information videos via a two-arm design. The study objectives are: (1) to quantify patient preferences through a DCE for forthcoming gene therapies in haemophilia A (2) to assess the impact of clinician influence on patient preferences via clinician information videos (3) to predict potential uptake of gene therapy in haemophilia A.
