Research summary
This is an investigation of the relationship between two questionnaires: the pain intensity Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and a quality of life questionnaire, called EQ-5D. The relationship of these questionnaires with the sleep disruption NRS will also be investigated.
This is a single visit non-interventional investigation.
Eligible patients attending a clinic as part of their standard care will be asked if they wish to complete an anonymous questionnaire. Consenting eligible participants will be asked to complete the following scales:
• Pain intensity 11-point NRS
• EQ-5D
• Sleep disruption 11-point NRSDemographic details will also be collected.
In order to take part, subjects must have a diagnose of cancer related chronic pain.
