Research summary
Thus study will assess how well the MIRACLE2 score, which is a score which predicts the chance of a patient with out of hospital cardiac arrest of dying or having severe brain injury, works in several different populations and in different healthcare settings. The study will seek to invite 20 centres from around the world to collect information on cardiac arrest patients treated within their system of care. We will then apply the MIRACLE2 score and check how well it works. We will also check the cost effectiveness of how we treat these patients using what is called a cost effectiveness analysis.
