    WHY?
    There is a large amount of evidence to suggest that addressing an oncology patients' quality of life and symptoms has a positive impact on their wellbeing and experience with care. Finding ways of accurately and timely measuring Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs), along with developing electronic and mobile health (eHealth and mHealth) solutions, is being increasingly recognized as one way to manage patients' quality of life and symptoms without increasing burden on time and resource-stretched National Health Services.

    WHAT?
    The main objective of this study is to assess the impact of personalized Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven coaching support for cancer patient survivors on nutrition and physical activities delivered through a smartphone App and enabled by data collection combining a wearable and periodical self-assessment.

    WHO?
    Adult outpatients with controlled cancer undergoing surveillance (cancer survivors)

    WHERE?
    Participants will be identified through attendance in oncology outpatient clinics by the oncologist in charge.

    HOW?
    Participants allocated to the intervention group will be receive personalized AI-driven coaching support. Coaching will focus on nutrition and physical activities delivered through a smartphone App and enabled by a data collection combining a wearable and periodical self-assessment.

    The study will last for one year; each participants' involvement will be for 16 weeks. Patients will be randomised (allocated the intervention by chance) to receive either personalized AI-driven coaching support delivered via a smart phone, a smart watch and a dedicated app or to receive a smart phone, smart watch and app alone. The assessments will include questionnaires completed via the smart phone app and physical assessments (of functional capacity and body composition) delivered via video call.
