The primary purpose of the data being collected is to analyse players visual capability and vision strategy related to football performance. The use of the data is to identify possible vision related weaknesses that would benefit from specific personalised training and implement the training either directly or vis the coaching / performance staff at the clubs. The data collected being unique the database has potential for future scientific value to understand vision related factors affecting performance and develop evidence based training. Such applications will require statistical analysis that will constitute clinical research.
