Research summary
The objective of the European wide multicenter "Falcon all comers DE-Balloon (FALCON) Registry" is to assess the efficacy and safety of a drug-eluting balloon which is being used clinically to treat significantly narrowed (stenosed) coronary arteries. In this registry study the treatment effects of the paclitaxel (an inhibitor of cell proliferation)-eluting balloon called IN.PACT Falcon will be collected in a “real life registry” setting in all indications in which a drug eluting balloon is being used in treating significantly narrowed (stenosed) coronary arteries with a lumen > 2.0mm and < 4.0mm.
