  This research will interview young people who have self-harmed to explore their experiences of school.
  I intend to consider any emergent themes from the narrative retelling of the young people’s experiences. By looking at themes it is anticipated that a deeper understanding of the experience of the young people will emerge. Further thinking about how schools can support young people who may be thinking about self-harming or have already done it can take place.
