  • Research summary

As a cutting edge facility we have invested in a range of different equipment (https://www.babraham.ac.uk/science-facilities/flow-cytometry) which we want to assess using staining protocols (different antibodies, fluorochromes and dyes) and also possibly sort various populations present in human tissues. We aim to compare different technologies (including but not limited to conventional, spectral and imaging flow cytometry) in order to determine which are the advantages and disadvantages of each one and whether the newer ones are superior. Moreover we would like to validate that the sorting carried out in our facility is of the highest standards. Finally we would like to know which instrument suites better which application.
