Research summary
This study will examine trends in the numbers, clinical profile and socioeconomic background of youth presenting with an eating disorder to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Prior to and during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease - 19) Pandemic.
Clinical data will be retrieved through retrospective chart reviews by a research team member. All data will be anonymised prior to entry into a study proforma and subsequently statistical analysis software for analysis. Information from this study will be used to consider COVID-19 related collateral damage that might have resulted based on COVID-19 restrictions, and assist with service planning.
