Research summary
We will assess non-diseased and inflammatory disease tissue using state of the art and emerging molecular and immune technologies, and cutting edge biology approaches to define human cell types in terms of their distinctive patterns of gene expression, physiological states, developmental trajectories, and location.
We will compare these tissues to understand and identify mechanisms of inflammatory disease progression which would be suitable for therapeutic intervention. We foresee that the project will expand as new techniques and methods become available. The protocol will be updated through the substantial amendment process as required.
