  • Research summary

This is a feasibility study to investigate if very intensive testing is acceptable to patients with mild Alzheimer’s disease, in order to identify possible biomarkers of Alzheimer’s Disease. To do this we are planning to measure many different biomarkers including brain imaging, tests of eye and brain function, blood and spinal fluids and memory. Following a screening visit, participants will undergo 4 assessment episodes over a six-month period, at least one of which will be a 2-day assessment. There will also be a 2 day visit to Imanova at Hammersmith Hospital for a PET-CT scan.
