Research summary
Hypothesis: There is a correlation between shoe size, height and femoral head diameter.
We will collect data on patient's shoe size and shoe modifications who have had total hip replacement surgery done within the unit. The data collected (shoe size and shoe modification) will then be compared to height (routine information collected at pre-assessment) and femoral head size (collected from computer template software and total hip replacement surgery carried out in the past). The data gather will be analysed.
