Research summary
The purpose of this study is to compare the subjective performance of a new daily disposable silicone hydrogel lens with that of an existing similar lens. Each test article will be worn for 30-45 minutes. Both types of lenses are CE marked products i.e. approved for use in the UK.
This is a 45-60 participant, one-day, double-masked, randomized, repeated measures, non-dispensing, cross-over study. Participants will wear a total of four lenses (two per eye) during the study.
The study is planned to be conducted at two sites in England. The study is being sponsored by Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Inc.
Participants will be existing reusable soft contact lens wearers recruited on the basis of having healthy eyes apart from needing correction for short- or long-sightedness. Participants will need to attend the study site on one occasion for approximately one afternoon.REC name
