• Research summary

  Retrospective observational cohort study using pre-existing, anonymised clinical data.
  We plan to collect patients’ anonymised clinical and pathological data from six international collaborating surgical centres to create three nomograms.

  Clinical data, treatment modalities, and treatment outcomes are reviewed retrospectively by reference to the medical records at each hospital. These data include age at diagnosis, sex, primary tumour site, maximal tumour size, presence or absence of a pathologic fracture before surgery, type of surgery (limb salvage surgery or amputation), surgical margin, histologic grade and the use of adjuvant radiation therapy or chemotherapy.
