    The research question will involve identifying the characteristics of opinion leaders and their knowledge on different dressing brands and types. This will be specific to the field of wound management and dressing use. The research will also identify which media is most effective to opinion leaders compared to non opinion leaders. The diffusion of innovations will show how product knowledge is passed on and whether mostly through opinion leaders to identify what kind of further training is required to ensure appropriate dressing use for different types of wounds. This is important as it can identify ward based opinion leaders in the promotion of appropriate use of dressings. Acute nurses on wards will be asked aswell as tissue viability nurses.The study will be one questionnaire that will last around 20 minutes per person. The initial pilot will involve 30 nurses.
