  This research project will look at the current implications of crutch ambulation amongst the short and long term users. The current crutch designs will be investigated and the ideal designs, according to the users’ pathology, will be suggested. Various social groups of participants will be examined in the study; NHS patients, amputee football palyers, temporar users, healthy volunteers.
