  The overall objective of this research is to evaluate an alternative group physiotherapy programme for the management of non-specific chronic low back pain (CLBP) and compare it using an RCT with a standard programme used at my place of work. This alternative group physiotherapy programme has been based and developed on the findings of a recent physiotherapy survey, consultation with stakeholders and review of the literature. This alternative programme will be implemented into clinical practice at Ealing PCT. This alternative programme will then be compared with a pre-existing group programme at the trust using a randomised controlled design which is the main part of the study.
