  The Aberdeen Maternity and Neonatal Databank has been continuously recording and storing all pregnancy related information occurring in Aberdeen Maternity Hospital since 1950 to date. Data are coded and entered by experienced staff from case notes after the woman ahs been discharged from hospital. • Research programme

  The Aberdeen Maternity and Neonatal Databank has in the past supported Obstetricians and trainees, midwives and postgraduate research students at the University of Aberdeen. THe steering committee also welcomes aplications from outside Aberdeen and collaborators in the past have included but not limited to University of Edinburgh, the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit in Oxford and the University of Leiden, Netherlands.
