• Research summary

  This will be a retrospective, cohort analysis of anonymised COVID-19 patient data, during the receipt of routine inpatient care, between 01/03/2020 and 22/04/2020 (inclusive), at Milton Keynes University Hospital, Buckinghamshire, UK. Participants will be those who were diagnosed with COVID-19 using Real-time polymerase chain reaction nasopharyngeal swab, and/or Computerised Tomography, admitted to Milton Keynes University Hospital. Children <18 years old, outpatient diagnoses and occupational health diagnoses will be excluded. No patient identifiable information will be used. All data will be collected by physicians using the electronic patient record system. Data will only be stored on hospital computers and communicated via secure NHS/Hospital email to protect patient confidentialty.
