Research summary
This is UK, multi-centre, retrospective, non-interventional cohort study based on secondary use of hospital medical records. This study will be conducted in approx. 3 - 5 NHS centres located in the UK.
The study is based on retrospective collection of data from patients’ medical records. There will be no changes to patient management for the purposes of any part of the study and no additional tests, investigations or visits will be required.
The population for this study is adult patients diagnosed with acute graft versus host disease (aGVHD) following allegeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) who are receiving treatment for their aGVHD as part of their standard clinical care in the UK. It is expected to recruit 100 patients in total.
The aim is to describe the clinical presentation, treatment patterns, clinical outcomes and resource use of patients aged 18 years or older who developed aGVHD after receiving an allogeneic HSCT.
