We have a duty to promote research transparency.
Transparency of research is essential so that participants and patients are protected from unnecessary research and patients benefit from improved outcomes and care informed by high quality research.
As part of our commitment to transparency we publish information on projects that have been approved and decisions that have been made by us. This includes decisions that are made by a Research Ethics Committee (REC)and applications that have been reviewed by the Confidentiality Advisory Group (CAG).
