On one axis is the number of days taken to complete a review, on the other is the year.

The graph shows two lines of data with similar trends.

A yellow line shows studies receiving HRA and HCRW Approval, rising from 43 days in 2018, to 51 days in 2019 and 54 days in 2020. The line the trends downwards to 46 days in 2021 and 45 days in 2022, before rising to 49 days in 2023.

A blue line showing studies receiving a final opinion from a Research Ethics Committee (UK wide) has a similar trend but much smaller variations. Starting at 17 days in 2018 it rises to 21 days in 2019 and 2020, before dropping slightly to 19 days in 2021 and 18 days in 2022, before rising to 20 days in 2023.
